The Middle East is undergoing a polycrisis marked by interconnected conflicts, from Gaza to Iran, and from Yemen to Libya, that are intensifying instability and accelerating the transformation of the regional order. The war in Gaza and its repercussions highlight the fragility of existing balances, while the growing assertiveness of actors such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran points to an active contest over the definition of new power hierarchies.
